DeVig ("Beat the Close") is a research and education tool for NFL prediction modeling. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
DeVig is local-first. Everything the app stores — your model configurations, matchup projections, frozen-at-kickoff snapshots, grading history, team form deltas, film notes, and your opt-in model-adherence journal — lives in a database on your iPhone. We have no servers, no user accounts, and no way to see your data.
If you enter API keys (e.g. The Odds API, Kalshi), they are stored in your device's encrypted Keychain and are used only to authenticate requests to those services. They are never transmitted anywhere else.
The app fetches public sports-data feeds (odds lines, scores, prediction-market data) directly from their providers. These requests contain no personal information — only the API key needed to authenticate.
DeVig Pro is an auto-renewing subscription handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit 2: $9.99/month or $79.99/year, each starting with a 7-day free trial. Apple processes your payment and manages your subscription; we never see or store your payment details. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
DeVig is a general-audience research tool and does not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
